Dan Vermeesch, Chris Schmidt and Dave Seabrook recently attended the “9th Annual Michigan Lean Consortium Conference – Be a Transformer”. As a keynote speaker, Dan shared many stories of Micron’s lean journey focusing on what we learned, how we made a difference and, most importantly, how we had fun along the way. Chris shared a lifetime of mentoring experience while on a panel focusing on “Transformation via Coaching and Mentoring”. Dave set the tone for next years conference with “Hawaiian Shirt Day”. All came away with a greater appreciation for the need to transform and were amazed, once again, at the depth of talent in one place at one time. Surprise guest speaker, Dr. Jeffrey Liker, was icing on a very tasty 7-layer chocolate cake.
